4/16/18 Occupational Knowledge & Skills: Typingclub.com Five Lessons
Mostly I feel I did pretty well. I struggled with any keys that were with my ring finger and pinkie finger, so like s&l and a&;, other wise I performed like an expert. Just typing this entire box took like a minute or so. My highest typing speed was about 71 WPM with 8 errors.
4/18/18 Occupational Knowledge & Skills: Classic Tale #26 Final
I scored 56 words per minute on the #26 Final. I feel I could have done better if it was't so loud. I got up to 80-something WPM, but then made 1 error and had to backspace a bunch, and then made the same error again. AARGGH!
4/23/18 Final Typing Certificate
Line Art:
The favourite colour I used in was the colour I used for my eye, Cyan. The flesh tone was hard to get as I had to adjust the red levels in it. Unfortunately, this was my second copy of the line art as the first one's file became corrupted and I had to start from scratch, so I lost my body shape and other colors and details I had for the ear, nose, and jacket.
Resume
1. 15 - 20 minutes minimum, 45 minutes maximum
2. To get an interview for a job
3. Your name, address, email, and phone number
4. Communicate the position your interested in
5. Reverse chronological order. Most recent achievements first
6. Because it trains us to keep updating that resume for the rest of our lives.
7. You need a resume to get an interview for a job not to actually apply for a job. Because your just trying to make a first impression. Someone wouldn't hire you for customer service just because of what your resume says. Maybe you have bad talking skills, a lisp or a stutter that isn't listed on your resume.
Face Illusion
In my face illusion you can see my face looking to the right and my face looking forward. This changes my perception of how I view other peoples faces. It makes me see two sides of them. Sometimes it's confusing, and sometimes is cool
5/18/2018 ON THE COVER
I feel like I thoroughly addressed all the requirements for the assignment. I included enough text and a variety of colors. The article headlines are all various parts of my personality with the center headline about myself.
Typography Lesson 5/29/18
1. I already knew most of the material before we started this lesson. Obviously I wouldn't use the goosebumps font with a bright colorful background.
2. I used to think it was the study of typing before. Now I know it as the proper way of typing in certain situations.
3. I set the main font of "Cyan Schiele's 14th Birthday" to a more elegant font and the actual information about the birthday in a more modern font.
4. Graphic Design and Marketing are both occupations that requrie knowledge of typography. Any buisness that wants to market their company would hire an advertising artist to market them.
5. I put in the effort to make my project simple, but complex. I tried adding the addition of the party popper to envoke a "birthday" feeling.
6. All of the ads and other app covers we see on our phones are all examples of Graphic Design or Typography in some way. In a sense, Typography is all around us.
